I want to share what one of the girls pictured said to me in school on Monday. I thanked her for volunteering, and she said, "I really feel like I did something." At first I didn't understand what she meant, and replied, "You had a huge day! Soccer game in the morning, and then volunteering in the afternoon. Of course you did something!" She said, "That's not what I mean. Instead of just hanging out at home Saturday night, I DID something. I feel like I made a difference." That was my "One Big Goose Bump" moment. :) We were thrilled to be able to help.<br />Robyn PoulsenRobyn Poulsennoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5809120754588572635.post-5940896257642229222010-09-15T16:59:33.372-04:002010-09-15T16:59:33.372-04:00Way 2 go!Way 2 go!agent99https://www.blogger.com/profile/12334005818736489335noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5809120754588572635.post-73860302066225528232010-09-10T15:56:17.254-04:002010-09-10T15:56:17.254-04:00I was at the movies with Brooklyn this summer and ...I was at the movies with Brooklyn this summer and a middle school girl comes up and says "hi Brooklyn!"
